Every day, we are unknowingly exposed to toxic chemicals. Through our air, water, food, furniture, personal care products, and cleaning and gardening supplies, toxic chemicals and pesticides are severely impacting our health and environment.
Despite key indicators such as plummeting bee populations and links to serious health issues like cancer and asthma, Canada’s legislative policies have fallen behind many other countries in regulating and banning toxic chemicals and harmful pesticides.
Stronger laws would limit the exposure of toxics at the source, resulting in the improved health of all Canadians and our lands and waters.
